Wood

In the Chinese Medicine Theory of Five Elements, Wood is the element of the Liver and Gall Bladder, and is associated with the emotion of anger. In nature wood is represented by Spring, when growth begins with the rancid smell of fresh cut grass, and the sour taste of unrippened fruit. Individuals with a Wood constitution either excel or have trouble planning, decision-making, and action. The future and their ability to see it can be their strength. When out of balance they may procrastinate or have a sense of hopelessness.
