Earth

In the Chinese Medicine Theory of Five Elements, Earth is the element of the Spleen and Stomach (digestive organs), and is associated with the emotion of worry. In nature earth is represented in the late Summer when the earth is ripening and producing a fragrant smell, colors of yellow and a sweet taste. Individuals with an Earth constitution have the ability to nourish like a mother nourishes a child. Sometimes an Earth person can feel a sense of emptiness or neediness in their own life.
